If you’ve got a bike that’s not being used, or maybe your children have outgrown their bikes and you’re not sure what to do with them, there are groups in Lanarkshire who accept donations of old bikes. The bikes are then fixed up and the organisation will find a suitable owner for it within the community. Even if you think your bike isn’t in good enough condition to go to a new owner, it can often be refurbished, and the working parts can even be used to fix another bike, ensuring that nothing goes to landfill.
