Lanarkshire Climate Action Festival is a pan-Lanarkshire festival celebrating positive climate action. Events are hosted by local community groups and are designed to either start local climate conversations and/or getting people involved in climate action.
The festival is organised by Lanarkshire Climate Action Hub. The first Lanarkshire Climate Action Festival took place in September 2024. The festival has grown in size and strength with nearly 100 brilliant events in 2025. This year the programme includes 90 excellent events across Lanarkshire. In addition, 62 primary schools and early learning centres are also taking part in the festival through planting bulbs for biodiversity.
This year Lanarkshire Climate Action Festival will take place from the 7-20 September 2026.
Please note: Funding is currently closed for 2026. Find out details of events happening during this year's festival here.
