Energy Support for Community Buildings in Lanarkshire
  • Online
  • 15 June 2026
  • 12-12.45pm

Does your community group manage a building? Are rising energy costs becoming a concern but you’re not sure where to start with making the building energy efficient?

Join us for a practical session to hear how we can support your organisation to reduce your energy bills and become more sustainable.

Agenda:

  • An introduction to the Energy Handholding Service and how it can support your group
  • Help to understand and navigate the various organisations available to help provide energy and sustainability support
  • Highlights from last year’s Energy Learning Exchange at Focus Youth Project
  • Case study: Abington Old School House

Hear about their journey and how the Hub has supported them via the Energy Handholding Service (Gordon Rennie)

  • Hear about the upcoming Energy Learning Exchange at Hope Hub during Lanarkshire Climate Action Festival 2026.
  • Details on how to get in touch with the Hub for support with your own community building

This is an informal, friendly session with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and to hear directly from groups looking to take action locally.

This session is for any Lanarkshire-based community groups or organisations who manage their own building and who are interested in reducing energy costs, improving sustainability or exploring future projects.
